2019 C4HL Micro-Grants

CWMA has received a 2019 State and Private Forestry Grant through the Colorado Department of Agriculture to support our Colorado for Healthy Landscapes (C4HL) initiative. We will be awarding micro-grants of up to $3,000 for projects that support sustainable landscapes and have a nexus to National Forest Service lands. The C4HL program is intended to build partnerships that will help noxious weed awareness reach new audiences and support ongoing efforts throughout the state. Applications are due March 1, 2019

New for 2019
• Projects must occur between April 1st and September 30th
• Projects must support control of high priority weeds on non-federal lands near National Forest Service lands
• List A and Eradication List B weeds will be given priority
• Projects must include a restoration component
• Projects must include a public education and outreach component
• A map of the project that includes treatment area, species to be treated, and vicinity to National Forest Service lands
• Applicants may be private landowners, non-profit organizations, state government, or local government entities (county or city)
